About Me

I have two beautiful daughters, two beautiful step-daughters, two adorable granddaughters, one awesome husband and three gentle dogs. I feel very lucky.

I love teaching art and making art, but I also love reading, biking, hiking, swimming, and camping. Spending time in nature with my family makes me happy and inspires me in my teaching and art.

Being outside-My husband and I are at our best when we are playing outside!

Making art-I am a painter at heart, but I have been opening myself up to other mediums, such as mosaic making and mask making. There is so much I want to do!

Working with kids- I have taught art at all of the grade levels, and I could never pick a favorite age group. Each has its joys and challenges and I wouldn't trade my job for any other!
